Background: Breast cancer has the highest incidence rate among cancers in Indonesia. Early detection is the key to reducing mortality rates. One method of early detection that is simple, inexpensive, and can be performed independently is Breast Self-Examination (SADARI). However, the public's limited knowledge and skills regarding SADARI pose a major obstacle to preventive efforts against breast cancer. Purpose: To determine the effect of education and training on breast self-examination (SADARI) on increasing the knowledge and skills of women of reproductive age regarding breast cancer prevention. Methods: This activity employed education and simulation methods, involving 40 women of reproductive age selected through purposive sampling. It was conducted at the Paya Bujok Tengoh Integrated Health Post (Posyandu) in West Langsa District, Langsa City, and comprised breast cancer health education, a demonstration, and hands-on practice of breast self-examination (BSE). Evaluation was carried out via pre- and post-tests using a knowledge questionnaire and a skills observation checklist. Results: There was an increase in the average knowledge score from 55.2 prior to education to 88.7 afterward.
